Project Runway’s Ra’mon Lawrence teams up with “Dangerous Curves Ahead” to help the Homeless
Chicago, IL (January 26, 2010) – A-Line Style Services www.a-linestyleservices.com founder, Tamika Martell is thrilled to announce the support & participation of Ra’mon Lawrence of Project Runway (Season 6) in “Dangerous Curves Ahead” Charity Fashion Show & Woman’s Expo.
Chicago native, Ra’mon Lawrence will be featuring his new spring collection at “Dangerous Curves Ahead” and is happy to have the opportunity to support the event’s cause. “I always say, your blessings are not your own”, revealed Lawrence, in response to gratitude expressed by Ms. Martell. Lawrence designs can be best described as “beautifully chaotic” as he transforms casual and organic fabrics into classy and eclectic works of art.

Homelessness affected Ms. Martell’s family as a child, and has since had a passion for this cause.
“Dangerous Curves Ahead” attendees can expect to see a great show, featuring 5 of Chicago’s top designers, including Lawrence and have the opportunity to sip cocktails, shop over 20 stylish vendors, and mingle for a great cause. A heartfelt head-to-toe makeover of one of the mothers of the Primo Center www.primocenter.org will be revealed at the closing of the fashion show.
Dangerous Curves Ahead is an annual charity event presented by www.a-linestyleservices.com, which takes place on April 24, 2010 at the Zhou B. Art Center in Chicago. Fifty percent of the proceeds will go to The Primo Center, a transitional housing facility for homeless mothers & their children on Chicago’s west side. Models that grace the runway will be a variation of sizes including standard size models as well as curvier and full figure models, embracing the beauty of women of all sizes. Tickets will be available (V.I.P. tickets includes Meet & Greet with designers) mid February of 2010.
A-Line Style Services is a Chicago-based Wardrobe Styling & Personal Shopping Consultancy catering to the Chicagoland professional with a specialization in dressing the curvy woman. Ms. Martell’s wardrobe styling has been seen on the daytime TV show, The Rachael Ray Show as well as on NBC 5 News.
